The Graduate Program in Collective Health (PPGSCol) - Professional Master's Degree, at the Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense (Unesc) is aimed at professionals and managers with higher education degrees who work or intend to work in the area of Health.
This program deepens and mobilizes reflective processes in the way health professionals work, through care management, so that positive movements in defense of the SUS and possible ways of making the system happen based on its assumptions can be promoted at regional and state level.
Among PPGSCol's functions is the promotion and mediation of meetings that enable professionals and managers in the macro-region to rethink their practices, in order to give new meaning to training processes in health.
It aims to mobilize professionals engaged with the SUS in the teaching-learning process in health, in a critical and involved way, through the use of permanent education in health as a working tool that produces light, light-hard and hard technologies, using scientific production as a source of evidence.
Thus, the PPGSCol is an important space for both instrumentalization and experimentation/construction of products and research into new forms of relationship among healthcare professionals and users, among healthcare professionals and managers, and among healthcare professionals themselves, in order to promote changes in their workplaces, recognizing primary care as the coordinator of the care network and inducer of a health-promoting model, which takes into account health responsibility through multiprofessional and intersectoral action.
